John Ooi · Creative counsel
For what is not yet clear
A project can be alive before you know where to begin, what it really wants to be or how its details belong together.
You may feel overwhelmed by everything it could involve. You may have generated more possibilities than clarity—with AI or without it. Or the work may have gathered assumptions and obligations until you can no longer feel what originally mattered.
Human attention
This work is deliberately human. I bring sustained attention, good questions, taste and judgement formed in relationship. I listen for what sits beneath the current framing: what you really want, where the project may have become disconnected from its deepest motivation, and what form could carry that intention without losing its life.
The original idea is not sacred. Sometimes the work restores contact with its seed intention; sometimes it reveals that the truer project needs a different beginning altogether.
Different forms
My attention may touch concept, vision, strategy, structure, design and realisation. I ask good questions, notice the whole and help make coherent choices. This is project-based counsel or collaboration between peers—not execution to order.
How we can begin
A short, no-cost call lets us sense the mutual fit. A paid creative-counsel conversation is a complete piece of work in itself: one project receiving our focused attention. It may be enough to reveal the next move, or it may open into a longer collaboration.
We can work remotely worldwide and meet in person when practical or required. I choose work through mutual fit and whether I believe the project serves life.
Maybe we should know each other.
