Meditation Teacher
and Spiritual Friend.
Supporting humans to live Happy + Well and experimenting with curiosity.
My name is John.
I am interested in mind as a medium that when properly understood can help us to live more fulfilling and healthy lives.
I believe good relationships are necessary for societies to thrive and that our relationship to ourself is the point of beginning.
Above all, I believe change is possible.

Experience & Training
My experience includes studying the human body at UCL Medical School, before choosing a different path and training to become a mindfulness meditation teacher — first with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach’s MMTCP, and later with David Nichtern at Tibet House US and Dharma Moon’s MMTT.
Travel and creativity have also been central.
I’ve spent time in Nepal’s Himalayas during a global pandemic and embarked on solo journeys in France, New Zealand, Argentina, and the USA.
My writing has led to a published comic and for the past half-decade, I’ve been creatively exploring crypto, strategy, and design.
Most recently, I’ve been working to stand-up higher.zip in support of the Higher Network, and taking on creative consulting projects with individuals and groups to help clarify ideas, shape direction, and bring projects into reality.
If you’re working on something that could use support, I’d be glad to talk.
I grew up in Liverpool, UK, with a Jewish-faith education during the week and Catholic church every Sunday. Living between two traditions gave me an early sense of curiosity about how people find meaning and connection.
That curiosity has shaped much of my life — taking me from medical training in London into meditation, travel, and creative work.
Along the way I’ve taught English to a Tibetan Buddhist Lama, founded a national climate change campaign, and started a podcast that ran over 45 episodes as well as appearing on a small handful as a guest.
At heart, I like to learn and share what I’ve learnt.
I’m open to work that empowers individuals and communities.
